Today at Varanasi the foundation of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Hospital and Centenary Super Specialty Hospital was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendar Modi. During his long day visit he also laid the foundation of an ESI hospital at Varanasi. The new hospital (ESI) will have around 150 beds with that he also did inaugurated a BRS health and Research Centre.
Prime Minister also took part in the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotasava – organized by the Ministry of Culture at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). He also visited the Kabir Nagar area to inspect and have an overlook about the work of underground electric cabling which is done under the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS). He also inaugurated Craft Centre and Trade Facility Centre.
Late in afternoon, he met party workers and addressed the BJP booth level worker which were assembled at DLW ground. The meeting was imperative as a bird eye view over the upcoming UP assembly election.
The security was elaborately tight in the city in the concern of the view of Prime Minister’s visit.
