To take admission in Delhi University is a big dream for almost all the students across the country. Like this only this year also university is all set to face the heat of thousands of students from different different branches like commerce, science, arts.
From next week registration process for undergraduate admission for academic session is going to be start. This year, there will be no separate registration for entrance-based undergraduate programmes and merit-based admission, aspirants can register through the centralized admission portal for all courses.
Before this single registration process, earlier there was separate registration process for entrance-based ones and for the merit-based admissions that used to start from first week of April but because of this change registrations have to be delayed by two weeks.
These all changes are done because of the problems faced by the aspirants and so that admission process will be more student friendly. The registration for merit-based courses will be continue till June by then all boards would declared their results and dates for entrance exam are likely to be declared by the first week of May.
There is also student helpline number they can register first online and then call DU admission committee in case of any problem. The first cutoff is expected to come out in second week of June. Hope this single-point registration will help students and make it easier than before.
