AMU organises ‘Placement Training Workshop’ for girls

The Indira Gandhi Hall, Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with the Training and Placement Office, Aligarh Muslim University organized a three-day ‘Placement Training Workshop’ with an objective to train the residents of IG Hall to face steps involved in the recruitment process.

The workshop was inaugurated on February 8th, 2017 by the provost of the IG Hall, Dr, Asiya Chaudhary, who welcomed Prof.  Imran Salim, Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University as the Chief Guest. Syed Faiz Zaidi was the resource person who threw light on the making of CV.  Saad Hameed, the coordinator and the facilitator of the workshop, along with his team of volunteers gave instructions for participating in a group discussion as well as to face a personal interview. The participants participated in group discussions and mock interviews.

The valedictory function was held on February 10th, 2017. The Chief Guest of the evening, Dr. Azra Musavi congratulated the participants and boosted the spirit of the residents. TPO (General) Saad Hameed spoke about the upcoming workshops that are planned by the TPO, in collaboration with the administration of various halls. By the end of the program, the participants and the volunteers were provided certificates followed by the vote of thanks by Medah Khan. The three-day workshop was hosted by Shafaque Zehra.
