According to WHO, 3 out of 10 people in need of blood don’t get it, therefore BloodConnect was found on the belief that if an additional 2% of the country’s young adults donated blood twice a year, the requirement would be met. Who else could have been a better choice when it came to inspiring youngsters towards the cause than Kanan Gill, one of India’s most celebrated youth icons? To infuse young Indians with a sense of commitment, BloodConnect teamed up with Kanan to hold a massive blood donation campaign that motivated youth to do their bit in solving blood shortage in the country. Kanan’s wit and humor combined in a very right measure managed to keep the laughter ringing among the audience.
