In 1943, he visited Japan after the approval of royal administration for his appeal of assistance in the fight against the British. The birth of Indian national army took place here only under the command of Bose. His army was comprised of a number of Indian war prisoners who once served in the British Indian army. It is said that Bose died on the plane crash after facing third-degree burns.
