Youth unite for Delhi’s biggest youth-led plantation drive in Colleges of Delhi University

The city’s biggest ever youth-led plantation drive, Adopt-A-Plant (ADAPT) is being organized in partnership with more than 50 colleges of Delhi University with participation over 10,000 youth across the city by Leaders For Tomorrow, a non-profit youth movement.Adopt-A-Plant (ADAPT) Campaign, starting on 27th August, encourages youth from various campuses to lead plantation drives in and around their college campuses. Students are inspired to plant and nurture the saplings as a team.

The event has been regularly taken up in the campuses in the last five years by the organization. This year, over 10,000 students across the city will be engaged in this event aimed at making the present generation aware of their role and responsibility in preserving the environment.Along with the plantation drive, several competitions including creative writing, poster designing, slogan writing etc will also be taken up by the students.

ADAPT is an annual plantation drive conducted by Leaders For Tomorrow. Through the campaign, volunteers nurture over 8000 saplings every year.The campaign will see different colleges of Delhi University take up the event throughout August and September and in its second phase will see students from 9 more universities, including Indraprastha University, Delhi Technological University, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University, and Amity University.
