Today the Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia Prof. Talat Ahmad inaugurated “JMI Baker’s & Cafe” in Jamia campus. Earlier in February this year Jamia had launched Its own packaged drinking water brand named “JMI Jal”.
“JMI Baker’s & Cafe” has been setup by the Centre For Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the university dedicated for providing quality bakery products to employees and students of the university.
“This is the addition to the training programs on bakery products for underprivileged people and school drop outs which has been already offered by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship under Livelihood Business Incubator. It will help people who have been taking training from this centre ” said Prof. Ahmad who was chief guest of the occasion.
“We are trying to produce more entrepreneurs through this centre by taking various initiatives time to time” added Prof. Ahmad
Inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Finance Officer, Prof. Haroon Sajjad, Chief Proctor, Deputy directors and assistant directors of the of the Centre with other dignitaries. Prof. Zishan Husain Khan is Director of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
