iBeatz – Mathsters of Tomorrow’s India

iBeatz – Mathsters of Tomorrow’s India is a Maths quiz which is being organised in schools from December 26 to February 2019. Students will be selected for the quiz through a preliminary test. The test will comprise of 16 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), which are to be solved in 20 minutes. Through this preliminary stage, 20 best students will be selected. The top 5 students of each grade (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th), basically the top-scorers, will qualify for the school level quiz. Two rounds of the quiz are designed, one for 3rd and 4th grade, and the other for 5th and 6th grade. There will be 5 teams, each comprising of one student from 3rd and one from 4th grade. The second quiz will again have 5 teams and each with one student from 5th and the other from 6th grade, making 20 participants in both the quizzes.
The quiz has 2 rounds: 1st round: 10 questions (2 for each team; wrong answer passes for a buzzer) 2nd round: Buzzer round of 10 questions The prizes to be given are:
  1. Preliminary tests: All students will be given a participation certificate and Fruitwave Juice Bottles (Vitamin/Glucose rich fruit concentrated juice)
  2. School level quiz: 20 toppers of Preliminary tests will be given Cuemath Scholarships (15 days after-school Mathematics tutorial worth Rs. 2500)
  3. School level winners: 2 teams and therefore 4 students, each from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade will compete at the inter-school finals and will be awarded with Ahoy cycles and the winning team will receive cash prize of INR 50,000 from Tomorrow’s India.
