DU Admissions: Once again DU releases unrealistic cutoffs this year

Few colleges of the University of Delhi released their first cutoff list for admissions in 2018. The first cutoff list has been released Gargi College, Kirori Mal College, Aurobindo College (Evening) Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and few other colleges.

Last year, Khalsa College created a buzz because of the highest cutoff for BSc. Electronics i.e 99.66% but this year they reduced it to 97% for the same subject. However, the highest cutoff has been recorded by Lady Shree Ram College for its BA (Program) at 98.75 percent. The SRCC stayed behind at 98.50 percent for BA(Honors) Economics course.

Despite a noteworthy fall across the board, few subjects will remain unreachable for many aspirants in the first list. Moreover, a significant hike has been observed in BA Sanskrit (Hons) at Kirori Mal College with a 10% rise.

The admission process will be held from Tuesday to Thursday from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm for morning colleges while 4 to 7 pm for evening colleges. After the approval of the admission by the college, the candidate must log on to DU UG admission portal and pay the fees online. The payment of fees can be done until Thursday noon. The second cutoff will be released on 25th  June.
