AMU students Marched for Aleppo; AMUSU also writes to President of India

The universities in India are becoming hub of political discussions. Aligarh Muslim university, is one such University which tried to raise an international issue on 17th December.

The AMUSU along with students community marched for Aleppo.Aleppo, a city of Syria is under serious crisis and many are dying everyday there. About 10K children have been killed in the Aleppo crisis.About 400 students of AMU Marched for Aleppo in the University campus promoting peace.A memorandum has been submitted to President of India on the behalf of AMU students community.

“We condemn this act of Killing of People in Aleppo, Syria is like killing humanity from the face of the earth.” said Faizul Hasan, President AMUSU. Indian foreign ministry being a powerful nation in Asia should intervene and Raise this issue in UN and also should put pressure on Russia to stop bombardment. Arab nations should also break their silence and should help their neighbours. Said MD Ovais Khan, student leader from AMU.
