Aam Aadmi Party is set to launch students’ wing

In a move to strengthen its hold in student politics, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is setting up its student’s wing named Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) which will be officially launched on September 27, 2014 with an aim of establishing a foothold in student politics.AAP chief Mr. Arvind Kejriwal will be chief guest on the occasion and Kumar Vishwas,Ashutosh,Gopal Rai,Manish Sisodia and Bhagwant Mann will be special guest.

“Aim of CYSS is to change the notion of hate politics among the students to the idea of learn live and love politics,against tradition students politics of of muscle money and man power and also empowering a common student with alternative clean politics and main aim is to connect the students with positive nationalism and nation building along with all d issues related to students.” said Sarita Singh, representative of Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti. She also mentioned that the student wing will focus on awareness campaigns for the students and will lead movements for their empowerment and CYSS has started working in various universities and its set up is formed in all universities of Delhi.

“A large section of the students are not interested in traditional politics so there is a need to engage with them and encourage them to be a part of politics and change the traditional politics” said a students activist of AAP.
