If you are one of those who likes to watch thrillers, sci-fi, and supernatural drama, then this series is just for you. You might be thinking they will showcase the problems faced by teens in high schools. But you will be surprised that this series comprises of the drama and supernatural power that the town has been cursed and is filled with some scary creatures that come up. Moreover, the creators are Matt and Ross Duffer (The Duffer Brothers). They have been able to create the most binge-worthy show. The laudable cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, and many noteworthy actors. The number of episodes is 32, and the total seasons are 4. They are going to release 2 more episodes for season 4 on July 1, 2022. The show is currently streaming on Netflix.

The Umbrella Academy

With the rating of IMDb being 8, the series has reached its audience as action fiction. The first two seasons are really worth watching, the plot continues to be refreshing and entertaining with this time change in season 2. The cast comprises Aidan Gallagher, Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Ritu Arya, and many more. This Netflix original series is quite relevant in today’s world.

WandaVision

WandaVision is a television series created by Jac Schaeffer. If you are a Marvel fan, then you should definitely go for this one. It will be much better if you see this series before watching Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It is not mandatory to watch but it will be an added topping to your cake if you will watch it. WandaVision is a series filled with thought-provoking details and wonderful performances by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. The show revolves around them and how this couple – Wanda and Vision hide their true identity as superheroes from the people of Westview and live like a normal couple. The show is weirdly funny and intriguing with lots of twists and turns. The first two episodes of the series might bore you, but it gets interesting with time. This show has a lot to offer. It is available on Disney + Hotstar.

Anatomy of a Scandal

If you are a fan of limited or miniseries like me then you should go for this one. Although the reviews aren’t that good about the show of how misleading it is or how poor the script is. But I personally enjoyed my time with this one. This show is for the ones who enjoy drama. I found it obvious and predictable at times but there is no harm to give it a try. This is a one-time watch series and falls into the category of psychological thriller, and legal drama. As it is a limited series so the number of episodes is 6 only, each of duration around 40 to 45 minutes. The cast is Michelle Dockery who is known for Burnt by the Sun, Downtown Abbey, and many such; Rupert Friend, Sienna Miller, and Naomi Scott. The show is written by David E. Kelley, Sarah Vaughan, Melissa James Gibson. It is directed by S. J. Clarkson and is based on Sarah Vaughan’s book.

Lucifer

The whole story revolves around the angel – Lucifer, who is handsome and powerful and was cast out of heaven for his rebellious nature. Bored out of hell, the devil decides to come back to earth, and starts a new life where he runs a nightclub and inadvertently becomes a consultant for the LAPD. The Lucifer TV show is based on the comic written by Mike Carey, which spun off from Neil Gainman’s, The Sandman. It’s a loose adaptation. You definitely crack up at the punchlines. The delivery of the dialogues and comic timing is equally good. The show is mystery, comedy drama and urban fantasy genre. It is suitable for the audiences 14 and above.

The Boys

Eric Kripke has developed an American superhero television series for the streaming service Amazon Prime Video. The series is definitely worth watching. The Boys is full of action, drama, dark comedy, satire, action, and superhero fiction. It’s based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. This was originally published by DC Comics. The rest should be discovered by you, so I leave it here with the IMDb rating of 8.7 but just remember one thing the audience for The Boys is 18+, so make sure of that you are one of the suitable audience before watching the series.

Locke & Key

The series revolves around a family moving to a home with some supernatural mysteries to unravel involving a set of mysterious keys. The series varies in the tone and quality. It has still a lot of potential and a lot to discover and is yet to open which you can find out in the second season as well. This show is here to captivate its viewers more and stick till the end. The top cast includes –  Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Jackson Robert Scott, Emilla Jones, and Petrice Jones. Wouldn’t like to go into detail with the plot then nothing much will be left for you to explore. So go ahead, and watch it this summer.
