Best Books to Prepare for MU OET 2019

An online national level entrance test is conducted by Manipal University (MU) every year for engineering admissions. Earlier, the exam was called MU OET (Manipal University Online Entrance Test) but now it is named as MET (Manipal Entrance Test). The syllabus of MU OET 2019 includes the topics and units of all four subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and General English. MU OET Application Form Released, Check Details

Manipal University has finally released the application forms for its flagship entrance test, i.e. Manipal University Online Entrance Test MU OET 2019. Candidates desirous of getting admission in Manipal University can now start filling their forms for UG and PG Courses.

The application form for Manipal University is generally seen as a very important one, as the university has received the status of ‘Institute of Eminence’ from the Central Government.

MU OET 2019: Courses Included

MU OET 2019 Application Form allow candidates to apply for several courses through a single form. Amongst the under graduate courses, candidates can choose from courses like B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Sc., BBA, BHM, Allied Health Sciences Course, B.Sc. Biotechnology, BA, B.Com., B.Sc. Animation and B.Design. The post graduate courses under the application form include courses like M.Tech. M.Arch., M.Sc., MBA, Allied Health Courses, MA, M.Design and MCA. However, while applying for any of the courses, candidates must make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for it.

Candidates can access the form on the official website of the university. Right on the homepage, candidates can see banner stating ‘Admissions Open 2019.’ Candidates need to click on ‘Click here to Apply Now’ to proceed further.

Further, the candidates will see the page to register for the exam. Candidates first need to enter their email address, mobile number and a password to register themselves. After this, the candidates will be directed towards the application form.

Also, candidates can visit this direct link to start applying for MU OET 2019. Here the candidates will need to enter their name, mobile number, email address, state and the course in which they are interested. By clicking on ‘Apply Now,’ candidates can proceed further.

MU OET 2019: Application Fees

Application Fee for Manipal University Application Form has been kept as INR 600 for most of the courses. However, for some selected programs the fees for the application form stands at INR 1400.

Further, candidates belonging to categories like Foreign, International, NRI or NRI (Sponsored) need to pay INR 2500 as the fees for the application form. The fees for MU OET 2019 form can be paid using online modes like Debit Card, Credit Card and Internet Banking.

MU OET 2019: Important Details

Although the application form for MU OET 2019 has been released, but there are many important details which are yet to be announced. However, some of the guidelines have been released, which candidates compulsorily will need to follow.

The first of these is that the candidate must enter their name carefully in the application form. The university has directed the candidates to spell their name in the similar way as it is spelled in their Qualifying Examination Score Card (i.e. past qualification, NEET etc.). Not following this direction can even result into rejection of form.

Further, Admission into courses in Medical stream will still require the candidates to appear for NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) and not MU OET 2019. Also, the seat allocation or the counselling for such courses will be conducted by Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS), New Delhi. The courses to which these rules are applicable include MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MDS, DM and M.Ch.
