Students throw ink at Health Minister JP Nadda in Bhopal

All was not good and healthy for Union minister for health and family welfare JP Nadda on Sunday. Some students during his visit to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal threw black ink on him. The Medical students were protesting against the lack of facilities at the hospital. The marker ink thrown got fell on the white kurta of minister when the he was in his car, on his way out of the AIIMS campus, at around 1:30 pm. Around 50 medical students were part of the protest and the police resorted to use mild force to disperse the students as they were creating blockage for the minister’s vehicle. The callous attitude of the government instigated the students to get agitated and protest. Two third-year MBBS students Ijha Pandey and Anjali Krishna got hurt during the struggle. JP Nadda inaugurated five facilities at the hospital, including two new wards, pharmacy, high-dependency unit, blood bank storage and a maternity ward. He also unveiled CT scan and MRI services at the hospital.
