Left Leaning All India Students’ Association AISA takes out a Poetry March with a slogan “Harmony shall Win” in North campus today, that witnessed massive support from student community. The idea behind the move is to promote peace and harmony within the campus and also to challenge those forces who are spreading hatred not only in DU but the world outside. As claimed by the Student wing, the march will not only be one of its kind but also this is going to be the first time that students from all over the university will join an event in such large numbers.
‘In world where there is so much hate, Injustice and Violence,Where people are being Mob-lynched for different reasons, and the way fascism is taking up over democratic ideas, these marches are a good way to spread peace and harmony. The way people are making universities a war-zone, Student taking up these issues at a mass level is not only important but necessary for their academic freedom and Democratic ideas_’ said Akash Gupta, AISA DU Vice President while speaking to Aapka Times.
