Students of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies bring a smile on faces of unprivileged people

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies ,New Delhi:

Sristi Boutique situated in Dwarka Sec 4, Delhi takes an initiative SPREADING SMILES in collaboration with WE FOR PEOPLE, NGO with support of Lakshay child and women welfare association to bring a smile on faces of unprivileged people by providing them with one of the basic necessities i.e. clothes and urge the masses with a little concern, people can make the needy feel gleeful.

The staff of the Sristi Boutique as well as the students of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Pitampura, Delhi have also joined their forces for this cause with a motto of “Spread Smiles, Stay Happy.” A bulk of clothes were collected from the students of VIPS and by the volunteers of Sristi Boutique.

On May 2,2015, Shikha Mukherjee along with her team visited the NGO and distributed the clothes to the ones in need. The clothes were distributed to children, women as well as the old ones. Mrs. Shikha Mukherjee believes that ‘there is more happiness in giving than receiving’ and therefore became the first donor for this noble cause. Akshay Tyagi, Project Director, We For People and Shobha Chaudhary, Lakshay’s President collectively said ‘ Working for the social welfare and spreading smiles this way is always like a pleasure to them. They enjoy doing this and would like to collaborate for more of such activities in future’.Sristi Boutique’s owner Shikha Mukherjee also plans to conduct such activities on a regular interval of time so that the message of helping and spreading smiles can reach the larger audience.
