SMRITI IRANI LAYS FOUNDATION OF SEVEN SCHOOLS IN DELHI

Union human resources development Smriti Irani laid the foundation of seven government-run schools in the national capital, Delhi.
According to the Delhi Education Department, the school buildings will be constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 110 Crore by the Public Works Department within the next two years. Out of the seven schools, two would belong to the West District, four would be in South West district and one will be in the South East district.
Speaking at the function, Smriti Irani underlined the need to develop the educational infrastructure in the capital so that the increasing number of students would get enrolled and get the higher education.

Smriti Irani at the function organized at the site of the new Senior Secondary School Building in Dwarka Sector-13 said that the she had firm belief that the upcoming students from these seven schools would make a mark not only in the field of education but will also enrich the society.
West Delhi BJP MP Pravesh Verma, who was also present on the occasion, said, “This initiative will be a big step towards the development of educational infrastructure in Dwarka area.”
