Modi swears-in as 15th Prime Minister of India

5New Delhi: A historic moment for India, as largely supported BJP’s Narendra Modi, pledged as the 15th Prime Minister of India. This ceremony was graced by celebrities, politicians and distinguished dignitaries from around the world.

Mr. Narendra Modi arrived at the Rashtrapati Bhavan at sharp 6pm and took his seat beside BJP’s former President, now Home Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh.

Several Bollywood Celebrities, Business tycoons, Spiritual Leaders and Prime Ministers of neighbouring countries were present for the oath ceremony of Mr. Narendra Modi.

President Pranab Mukherjee was escorted to the podium and then the ceremony began. National Anthem marked the beginning of the ceremony.

As Narendra Modi walked to the podium, slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ echoed there. And then as Modi took his oath as the Prime Minister of India, applauds rocked the venue. After Mr. Modi, cabinet ministers took their oaths one by one.

The swearing in of Cabinet Ministers was followed by the oaths of Ministers of States.

Narendra Modi, after becoming the Prime Minister of India addressed the country. His first message was:
