Kapil Sharma: Can a common, humble, honest man be the candy of everybody ‘s eye?

Can a common, humble, honest man be the candy of everybody ‘s eye? Can a sub inspector’s son be the most known comedian of the country? Can a poor man who did comedy for living be listed in the Forbes India’s Top 100 celebrity list. The answer is Yes. It’s one and only Kapil Sharma. This man has built every bit of himself with sheer determination and hard work with the Kapil flavour added all over. He is not just a comedian but an inspiration to thousands on how one chases his dreams.During his college days, Kapil was very much involved in theatre. He loved theatre. But it was behind scenes that he discovered his rare talent. He realised that in between the shows and the rehearsals, in the short breaks given, it was always him responsible for tickling everybody’s funny bone. And he didn’t ignore these signs, but churned his career out of it.

But the path wasn’t straight for him. It had its ups and downs. Sharma worked in the comedy show Hasde Hasande Ravo on MH One, until he got his first break in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He became the winner of the show in 2007 for which he won 10 lakhs as prize money. With this money , he got his sister married. Probably the most lavish wedding ever in his family. Then he participated in Sony Entertainment Television’s Comedy circus. He became the winner of total six seasons of “Comedy Circus” he participated in. That’s quite a thing! Who ever wins 6 seasons of the same show! He received his fan following prominently from this show. Kapil was new to this taste of fame and success. But he didn’t trembled, Mr. Sharma went on. Soon, he launched his own show Comedy Nights with Kapil, under his banner K9 Production on Colors TV channel. And from there on there was no looking back. He hosted dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Season 6 with Manish Paul, hosted Filmfare Awards, was Made the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan Ambassador, have acted in a movie that broke records on its first day of release and so on….

And you know the startling fact? He was previously rejected in the beginning itself, after his auditions for the “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”. But then got a call back . Now it was this REJECTED man who went on to WIN the show and make something out of his life.

We all know how his light‐hearted comedy makes everybody giggle like a kid. His witty one‐liners sway our mind. Think yourself how can “Babaji kaa thullu” be funny, unless it’s being promoted by brand Kapil. His show is a massive hit in India as well as broad. The theme and the characters of the show were very unique and the audience loved it. B‐town Big wigs like Amitabh Bachan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra , Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Kangana Ranaut veterans like Hema Malini, Rekha, Dharmendra and numerous others sports personalities like Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag. Sunil Gavaskar, Sania Mirza, Virat Kohli, Saina Nehwal, have been on the show. You name it and that celebrity has been there(Please don’t start doing the math now 😉

In an interview, Kapil admitted that he dreams of inviting Mr. Modi to the show.

Well, nobody’s here as his publicity team member. But that can’t stop anyone in getting inspired from the self‐made men. Must tell you that when you write ‘Kapil’ on Google , along with likes of Kapil Dev and Kapil Sibbal , you also get‐“Kapil Sharma”. That itself says about the kind of stature the man possess.

We all look for Inspiration but that can’t necessarily come from all suited and suave professionals , sometimes it can be found in a comedian too! Psychologically thinking, it’s a true fact that someone looks more charming and appeals more if he isn’t surrounded by an aura of Rational egoism. Kapil hasn’t let his popularity and fame affect him. And that’s what has made him more acceptable to the viewers. From a no one to the most loved person in the country and abroad. He made it huge and still is as humble as he was. Rooted to the ground and the best at what he does. Kapil Sharma is an exemplary display to all of us. A gigantic source of inspiration and guidance. He revolutionised the stand up comedy culture in India and will be remembered for years to come.

We love him 🙂
