JNUSU Elections’ 17: Left alliance Set to clean sweep; BAPSA leaps to the second position in all four central panel seats

The United left panel of AISA-SFI-DSF clean sweeps on Saturday by winning all four central panel seats for the post of President, Vice President, General Secretary, and the Joint Secretary in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) elections which was held on 6th September.
Birsa Ambedkar Phule Students Association (BAPSA) which was contesting it’s second election this year in JNU got huge support and managed to get second spot for the all the central panel posts.The BJP-backed Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) stood third. 800 votes in the School of Languages yet to be counted but the vote counts clear the victory of left unity panel on all posts. Counting  is in the process.
