JNU to introduce 3 new Masters courses in art, film and theatre

Good news for those who are willing to do their masters from JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) in the next academic session. JNU has proposed to launch three new courses in Film and Television, Art History and Theater from the next academic session.

” In July, the proposal has come from the Board of Studies of the ‘School of Arts and Aesthetics’ regarding the introduction of the new course”‘, said JNU’s Vice Chancellor, S.K. Sopory. Adding to this, Sopory also commented that “the preamble, the courses to be taught and credit requirements for the three programs have been worked out”. The varsity’s Academic Council (AC) had given a thumbs up for the introduction of these courses in its recent meeting, thus encouraging the future existence of the proposal at large.
