Jamia students organise massive protest against cow vigilantism; Demand Justice for Pehlu Khan

Hundreds of students from different department gathered in front of the central canteen holding placards denouncing the growing trend of cow vigilantism in the country.

Hundreads of students from Jamia Millia islamia demonstrated a massive protest in university campus against the cow vigilantism and demanded justice for Pehlu Khan. Pehlu Khan,a dairy farmer around 50-year-old man was murdered few days back by a group of self-styled ‘gau rakshaks’ in Alwar, Rajasthan.

The protest march started from the central canteen of Jamia and passed through the various departments of the university and culminated  at the front of Zakir Hussain library, where student leaders addressed the crowd.
