Jamia alumni network grants scholarship to 66 needy students of Jamia Millia Islamia

Jamia Alumni of Chicago Chapter has sanctioned the scholarships to 66 students of Jamia Millia Islamia. Out of 64 students, 28 students are from the school however 38 students are selected from the college. This scholarship was started in 2016 by the Jamia Alumni of Chicago Chapter. Last year 36 students were granted with this scholarship with a count of 19 school students and 17 College Students. Recently this alumni group has helped 80 year old Urdu poet Asrar Jamayee with a amount of Rs 70,000.

“We would like to thank Jamia Alumni based in the United States who have supported for this whole heartedly. Though there are several students who are left because of limited funds, its been humbly requested from other alumni chapters based in London, Sydney, Toronto, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Kuwait, Muscat, Doha and Bahrain to come forward and support those needy kids to continue their education.” said an official statement issued by the Jamia Alumni Chicago Chapter.
