DU Cut Off 2018: St. Stephen’s Releases ‘First Cut-Off’

St. Stephen’s one of the most leading institutes of Delhi University (DU). The college always releases separate cut-offs and follow a different procedure for admission. On Monday 11 June College announced the eligibility criteria to qualify the interview for admission to several Undergraduate courses.The interviews will begin from June 18.

College has released its first cut-off list; this list is marginally increased by 0.25-1 % for Humanities courses from last year.

ECONOMICS (HONS) GETS HIGHEST CUT-OFF

This year for admission to. B.A. (Hons) Economics, has highest cut-off, an applicant from the Science stream needs 97.5%,Commerce stream needs 98.75%students should have 90 & in mathematics and Humanities stream one needs 98% to be called for an interview.

English (HONS) also has a high cut-off

Science students need 98%, Humanities students need 97.5% and Commerce students need 98.5%. Similar to Economics, English (Hons) also have specific riders, to be selected for the interview. B.A. (Hons) History students need, 90% in mathematics is compulsory, humanities stream students’ needs 96.5% commerce and science stream students need 98%.

For B.A. (Hons) Philosophy

Humanities students need 95%, Commerce students need 97%, and Science students need 95.5%. The cut-off for B.A. in Sanskrit (Hons) is 65% for every stream. B.Sc. Chemistry cut-off is 96% and B.Sc. Physics cut-off is 97.33%.

The cut-offs of last year for all three streams were 98.5 per cent, 97.5 per cent and 97.5 per cent.Other colleges of (DU) Delhi University may release first cut-off list on 19 June.
