Delhi University’s Law Faculty broke the nexus of caste politics

Delhi university’s law faculty held its elections today whose results happened to be a complete change from what it used to  appear in previous years. With no Jatt Gujjar politics playing around in CLC ( Campus Law Center) unlike the DUSU elections, the candidate who secured maximum votes this time doesn’t belong to either communities . The candidates who successfully won elections are Achint Kumar winning the president’s  post, Amrit Brar elected as Vice President , Abhishekh Singh as General Secretary , Ankur David as CC and Anu Kushwaha for Joint Secretary who has her roots in Nepal. It is happening for the  first time in the history of Campus Law Center that someone apart from Indian roots contested and won elections.
