Delhi University releases its fourth cut-off list; 20 % seats remain vacant

The University of Delhi has released its fourth cutoff list for different colleges. Even though the admission is closed for B.Com (Honors), but few other courses are available for students. As per reports, around 20% of DU seats are available and some colleges have reopened admissions as some students have withdrawn their applications.

The top colleges have closed admissions for most of their UG courses. Shri Ram College of Commerce closed its admission window for all the UG courses while general category students can still get admission in courses like – BA in history, political science, sociology and philosophy at Hindu College.

Students who were fortunate enough to make it to the merit list can approach the college of their choice and complete the process from 6th July to 9th July. The timings for morning colleges’ application are 9.30 am to 1.30 pm and 4 pm to 7 pm for evening colleges.

For getting admission into the Delhi University, the students need to follow few basic steps like-

  1. Log on to the DU admission student portal.
  2. Select the course and college, and an appropriate admission form will be generated.
  3. Students must then approach the college with their filled-in admission form and required documents.
  4. After getting approval from the college principal, students must pay the requisite fee to confirm their seat.
