AMU Vice Chancellor conferred India’s Most Eminent Vice Chancellor Award

Aligarh, December 15:

Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (retd) has been conferred the ‘India’s Most Eminent Vice Chancellor Award 2015’ by the All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice in association with the National Council of News Broadcasting and Asian Human Rights Council.

Dr Anthony Raju, Global Chairman, All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice presented this award to the AMU Vice Chancellor at his office. The award was given in the ‘5th Bhartiya Manav Adhikar Samman 2015 for Peace, Harmony, Protecting and Promoting Human Rights’ programme, which was a tribute to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India and Bharat Ratna.
