AMU to organize Job fair

ALIGARH January 20: The Aligarh Muslim University students, in association with the AMU Students’ Union (AMUSU) is organizing a mega job expo “Recrufest ‘15” from March 9-12, 2015. The event is being coordinated by the Training and Placement office (General) of the University.

Honorary Secretary, AMUSU, Mr. Shahzeb Ahmad said that the job festival is aimed at providing on-campus placement opportunities to students of all technical and non-technical courses. It would further help students to ascertain their potential and seek to provide an orientation on personality development and communication skills.

Mr. Mohd. Kamil Vakil, Team Leader said that the students’ initiative is focused on promoting AMU as a brand, which would provide its students and faculty members the required exposure henceforth.

He pointed out that the job fair would also help the University to prepare an annual job and placement data and make preparations for the next job festival accordingly. He informed that around 50 companies are expected to participate in the job festival.
