AMU students felicitate Pro Vice Chancellor for campus placements

Aligarh, May 12:

The student representatives of various university courses under the Training and Placement office (General) today felicitated the Aligarh Muslim University Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali for his continuous guidance and support for on campus placements.While receiving a memento on behalf of the university administration as a token of appreciation, Brigadier Ali said that the university is trying its best to fulfill its responsibility of providing better job opportunities to the students.  

 Stating that it is the need of the hour, Brigadier Ali motivated students to strive for the best jobs. He urged the students to pass on their experiences and knowledge to their juniors for hands on guidance and mentoring.Brigadier Ali also urged students to develop a culture of study groups to upgrade their knowledge and for grooming their personalities.After thanking the Training and Placement Officer (General), Mr Saad Hameed for his hard work in bringing campus placements, Brigadier Ali asked the students to give their full support to the TPO for further improvement in campus placements.

 Mr Saad Hameed, T P O (General) said that efforts to make AMU a placement hub for reputed Multinational Corporations will continue. “We will do our best to make AMU, a leading university in terms of job placements,” said Mr Hameed. The Department of Business Administration experienced a flood of companies this year with some students holding 3-4 job offers. In a new milestone in job placements, courses like MSC, MSW and MCA crossed 90 percent placement mark. Meanwhile, all the professional courses got decent placements in the current academic session as companies reached AMU to hire students from almost all academic courses.During the felicitation, students of various courses praised the university administration for their positive leadership and concern.
