AMU released the annual Hall Magazine of Ross Masood Hall, “Al-Masood”.

ALIGARH May 14: The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah (Retd.) today released the annual Hall Magazine of Ross Masood Hall, “Al-Masood”.

Gen. Shah said that the Hall Magazine provided a unique opportunity to the residents to perfect their literary skills in a positive manner and hone their talent to contribute in the literary and journalistic fields. It also contributes significantly in developing their personality and gaining confidence.

The Vice Chancellor said that the residential halls of the AMU are unique in their character as they serve as a great training centre for the residents and help them create social and cultural bonding, conforming to the secular and composite culture of India. He said that the residential life in AMU inculcates a sense of inclusiveness, cutting across the barriers of region, language, culture and faith.

On this occasion, Dr. S. M. Javed Akhtar, Finance Officer, Dr. Shamshad Husain, Provost, Dr. Mohd. Ali Jauhar, Censor and Yasif Eqbal, Editor of the Hall Magazine were present.
