AMU organises Breast Cancer Awareness Camp

Breast Cancer is alarmingly increasing and to create its awareness Indira Gandhi Hall invited distinguished experts who equipped the residents with knowledge of breast cancer, on February 17th, 2017. Mr. Saad Hameed, the reverend head of the Training and Placement Office (General); and the provost of IG Hall, Prof. Asiya Chaudhary took the initiative to conduct the ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Camp’.
Dr. Mohsin Raza, Senior Consultant General Surgeon, and facilitator of “Breast Cancer Awareness Among Indian Women”; and Prof. Shahid Ali Siddiqui, Head, Department of Radiotherapy, JNMCH were the keynote speakers. A team of female experts from JNMCH guided the self -examinations.
The informative session concluded with the vote of thanks by the provost. The program was hosted by Anam Beg.
