AMU-Kishanganj(Bihar) organized a fresher’s party “Aaghaaz” for its first batch.

The Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University Centre Kishanganj(Bihar) organized a fresher’s party “Aaghaaz” for its first batch.

The first of its kind at this centre, the program began with the brief introductory remarks by Dr Haider Abbas, Faculty In-Charge, Public Relations. Dr Md Agha Nuruzzaman, Course Coordinator, MBA proposed the welcome note.

Dr Raashid Nehal, Director, AMU Centre Kishanganj and the Chief Guest on the occasion highlighted the importance of such innovative and creative events for the overall grooming of the students to become future managers. Dr Nehal appreciated the efforts and contributions of students in the event and encouraged them by assuring the extension of the best possible support in future.

Dr Nazia Hasan, Associate Professor, Women’s College, AMU and the Guest of Honour also shared her experiences of professional life as well as student life at the University. She emphasized that in the times of deteriorating societal values, the preservation of the century old customs of Aligarh Muslim University is the need of hour.

Dr Haider Abbas informed that the main attractions at the event were speeches, songs, ghazals, ad-mad show, mimicries and skits. He said that a contest, “the contest for flamboyants”, which involved preliminary and final rounds, was conducted by Dr Mohammad Faisal and Dr Rizwana Khatun. He told that Rehbar, Etmad, Hajra and Mehvish received the titles of Mr Fresher, Mr Evening, Ms Fresher and Ms Evening respectively.

Dr Abbas said that Ejaz, Ziya, Muzammil, Shaghufa, Shahbaz and Hajra compeered the program. Dr Faisal proposed the vote of thanks.
