Admission to Distance Mode Programmes in Jamia commences on July 27, 2015

The Centre for Distance and Open Learning, JMI will offer on-the-spot admission to eligible candidates from July 27, 2015. Admission can be sought in eighteen different academic programmes at the PG,UG, PG Diploma, Diploma, & Certificate levels. The forms may be downloaded from Jamia’s website: www.jmi.ac.in from July 27, 2015.

On-the-Spot Admission will be given at CDOL, JMI as well as at other Study Centres located in Assam, Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and other states from 27th July 2015 to 20 October 2015. A candidate fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria can fill in the admission form, attach the required documents and demand draft of Programme fees to take provisional admission the same day.

For Delhi/NCR Centres admission will be given at the Centre for Distance & Open Learning, JMI while for Centres outside Delhi/NCR admission will be given at the Study Centre chosen by the candidate.Jamia has undertaken a major expansive exercise to make university education accessible to people who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to enroll in the regular mode of education/learning. In this regard, the numbers of Study Centres have been increased from 38 to 62 from the academic session 2015-16 to cater to the needs of students living in different parts of the country.
